Distinctive Offerings From A Realtor San Bernardino County Home Buyers Prefer

By Virginia Olson

Millions of people call Southern California home, and many more are relocating there. Some have come to work at the headquarters of one of the largest online companies in the world. These individuals are often interested in settling down in the Big Bear area where there is a national forest, mountains, lakes, and a number of excellent universities and community colleges. For the most part these individuals are successful, career oriented and looking for homes that will fit their lifestyles. In order to find the perfect place to live, they need a Realtor San Bernardino County home buyers rely on.

Craftsman style homes never seem to go out of fashion, and if you are interested, there are usually several available for a little over five hundred thousand dollars. Most of them have at least three bedrooms. There are plenty of wood accents, transoms, hardwood floors, and the other touches that make Craftsman homes so special. In the kitchen you can expect modern appliances, farmhouse sinks, and cement counter tops.

For a little over seven hundred thousand, there are properties with four bedrooms and three baths. There have even been homes available at Big Bear Lake in this price range. If this is someplace that interests you, you should ask you real estate agent if you can tour one of the log homes that occasionally come on the market. A lot of these have balconies and back porches with amazing views of the area.

For just under a million dollars you might be able to purchase a beautiful estate style home with spiral staircases, huge master suites with private baths, private offices and media rooms. There may even be a space to park your RV when you are not traveling. Most Californians love to spend time outside, and these homes are perfect for them. Many have custom built saltwater pools with spas. The patios are often equipped with gas fire grills perfect for entertaining.

For those willing to go into the million dollar plus range, you can also live in Big Bear. They have a number of five bedroom homes with huge two story great rooms, massive fireplaces, chef kitchens, and over four thousand square feet of living area. Game rooms, private offices, multiple car garages, and incredible views are pretty much standard here.

If you really want to splurge and spend upwards of two million dollars, there might be a breathtaking Spanish hacienda overlooking a spacious lawn and a dramatic circular drive in the front. Many have floor plans designed for serious entertaining with open living and dining areas. Walls of French doors leading out to spacious patios, columns, arches, and wide hallways add to the overall effect of luxury and opulence.

A single family home is not right for everyone, especially young singles who do a lot of traveling. If you prefer condominium or town home living, but still like the Big Bear area, there are properties available for around eight hundred thousand dollars that are very spacious and impressive.

Southern California is a great place to live, especially if you have a good source of income. The hardest decision you may have to make, when it comes to purchasing a new home, is which one to choose.
