Ohio University is located in Athens, Ohio, which is pretty much the definition of a college town. If you crave more emenities or even a luxurious experience, then there are luxury apartment buildings or complexes nearby that can supply you with various sized units that are furnished or unfurnished. They generally come with laundry machines and gourmet kitchens as well.

You may also have a clubhouse, which is large room where you can throw parties or other types of gatherings by reserving it in advance. You might have wifi or cable tv included, or you can get them installed at a discount in some places. There may even be a public, social place to gather with and meet other tenants.

Cash is sometimes in short supply with college students, so living alone may not be ideal. If you have one or more roommates, you can split costs to save some cash each month and make life easier. Look for a two, three, or even four bedroom apartment to help keep your overall cost of living down quite a bit.

Many of these apartments are within walking distance of the university, or are situated near public transportation that can get you there in a matter of minutes. The area is also famous for having many businesses that are helpful to college students such as book stores, coffee shops, and late night eateries.
